Like you, I thought I didn’t “need” a stand mixer. Boy was I wrong. I asked for one for Xmas from my spouse and got it. It was the single best decision in the kitchen I’ve ever made. I use it all the time for so many things. It makes baking so much easier, faster, neater… I love my stand mixer almost as much as I love my dogs, or my husband! I say get one at the first opportunity…..

I am so happy you have two cats rather than just one. I hope they give you many many happy years of cat-loves and joy.

Wouldn’t you love to know what your pet calls him/herself? I always ask our Kip what he thinks his name is – it’s probably something like “Stop-That-Barking!” or something along those lines.

Make your favorite sauce and freeze it in ice cube trays. Pop 1 or 2 of them out and microwave to defrost.

I had to give up shopping at Stop & Shop here because of the high prices and changed to Market Basket which is saving us over $100 a week for 2 people. Actually I can get everyone on my list these days for a week for around $85 now… and I was hitting the $200 mark at Stop & Shop. I did an analysis of the prices of the two and was amazed at the difference.

About pets, I can’t imagine living a house alone if I were a pet. I always say two is better than one, they need company, although some cats put on an independent facade… I still think two is always better. But aren’t you both away a lot? How can you have pets if you travel or go away? They really need you 24/7/365 and not just when you’re home in between trips. They get lonely when you aren’t there.
