… all by myself! The yellow Formica table only came from the kitchen (I think it was originally Rudder’s parents’ or grandparents’) but that double pedestal desk (mine from college) was all the way upstairs in the erg room, behind the erg. (In fact, I had to take the erg apart and off its slides.) I got it all the way downstairs – easy because I could turn it upside down and slide it on the carpet – then outside and down those stairs – harder, even with a dolly. The bag on top contains a few other small things and marks them for the charity who will come get them tomorrow morning.
It is unfortunate that the charity was coming by before Rudder’s return tomorrow. Maybe I’ll leave the erg for him to reassemble.
