Here’s another necklace that’s been a long time coming. I’ve been collecting the beads for it for a while now, got some key ones at the bead/jewelry fair a few weeks ago, and unexpectedly found gold-plated wire on sale here Saturday. This necklace contained GP wire, glass, crystal, fire agate, faux pearls, handmade lampwork beads, cinnabar, plastic, and Swarovski crystal, with a healthy helping of tomatoes, cherries, fire engines, and ruby lips.
It occurs to me that I now have made Earth (in two senses, growing things or buried treasure, Air, Fire and Water necklaces. (That Water link shows one I made for my MIL, but I have a similar smaller one I made for myself in my very early beading days.)
