We are back. The flight home was unexpectedly painless as we both slept 5-6 hours of the 10-hour leg from Amsterdam to Bangkok. And now it’s 2AM and I’m awake, though it’s less about jetlag and more about not being able to stop coughing. I don’t seem to be sick or anything, I’ve just had a cough for about 4 days now. My best guess is that it’s because the Netherlands is so dry, but it does combine nicely with the vestigial pain left in my foot and the vertigo issue. Fortunately that last only really hit me when I move my head from vertical to horizontal or roll over in bed so it didn’t bother me on the flight here. Because if you’re going to have weird unexplained minor annoying symptoms with unknown causes, there’s nothing like having three of them at once.
At least a cup of tea might help with the coughing one.
