On the left are the pair I finished for Rudder a while bck – by the time I was done I was so fed up with the yarn that I never wove in the ends until a couple days ago. On the right are the Sherbet socks I’ve just finished. There’s just a hair too big, but wearable – I might see if the washer shrinks them a little.
Also, the result of today’s haircut. He didn’t take off too much – whew! It is a little shorter in front than it was – I asked for a few strands of (very long) bangs. It is mre than a little scary to get your hair cut by someone who doesn’t speak your languages (the woman at the desk in the salon translated for us) and who possibly doesn’t have experience with your hair type. (I’ll probably write this whole experience up in more detail at the other site.) But I think he did OK; I let him straighten it for fun, but it will be interesting to see what it looks like after I wash it and it sproings back up.
