here I go again

Crap *Another* shadow migraine episode, for a total of 5 recorded since the start of January 2007. I’ve been keeping track of circumstances around them and one that seems to be common is that I or Rudder have a cold or cough. I would not have expected his colds to have much to do with this, but though I’ve been better, he’s been coughing pretty badly the last few days. Seriously of the five episodes over the past year that I have notes on, during three of them I ha a minor cold or was just getting over one. He had a cold for two and a cough this time; once I wrote that he had a bad cold and didn’t mention one on my part. The only time I didn’t mention a cold for either of us, I had worn contacts for two days straight (unti the past few years, I used to be able to wear them for a week at a time) and my eyes and nose were runny. I wonder if maybe some of those were not colds but allergies, and if that causes this? At ay rate, I’m safely at work, and will be OK as long as this goes away by the time I have to drive home. If not, I guess the alternative is to take a cab home and back in tomorrow; the afterimages are filling most of my field of vision and I really can’t see well enough to drive at the moment. I don’t leave for three hours, and it usually doesn’t last all that long, so I should be all right.

On the plus side, if you can read this, my touch typing is better than I’d thouht. I can see just well enough that I’ve corrected a couple of mistakes, but not well enough to see every key or to correct it.

M neck feels very tight, too. Additional possible causes are swimming last night, something in the cafeteria food (which would be very hard to identify – who knows what’s in there?) or the general pollution level here.

P.S. Taking Advil now. If tension-related, might help.
