Kalmaegi mostly missed us

The typhoon mostly missed us – lots of rain today but not too much wind. I think our plans for the weekend will be switched to indoor things, though. We left work a bit early in case we needed to tie our boats down, but found that not only were they gone(presumably taken by the rowing coach to somewhere safe) but so was everything in the park that could possibly move around – including the small huts that house toilets and changing rooms and office. Impressively efficient. There is flooding in Taichung and apparently they’re prepared for it here too, because the flood gates to the river were closed this morning.

I don’t expect any problems, though, other than annoyingly low visibility on the ride home and getting a bit damp when we go out to dinner tonight.

By the way, if anyone reading this knows WordPress, I need help. A couple of days ago I upgraded to WP 2.6 both here and on Avontuur. This site is fine, but when I go to write a post there, the media menu is missing – the one with the little icons to upload photos, etc. I’ve checked and the permissions on the image directories it uses are set to 775, so that’s not it. Any suggestions?
