The plans:

1. prepare a couple of packages tonight.
2. Wake up at 6 when Ted gets up to erg. Try to go back to sleep.
3. Wake up at 7. Erg.
4. Shower, dress, eat something.
5. Go to post offices and mail packages (including one a month late for Mother’s Day) because it’s so rare that I’m home nad I can.
6. Get taxi. Go to Excimer Laser Center.
7. Be evaluated and do my own evaluating for possibility of having LASEK.
Note: printing out address for taxi involved going through their website, and thus realizing that they also do Botox and so on. Yikes. On the other hand I know not one but two US doctors who have opened or have considered opening clinics for “aesthetics” – apparently it’s profitable but does require a real doctor. So maybe this is OK. Also learned they do wavefront laser technology, which seems to be the latest thing.
8. Take taxi to work. Having Taipei taxi drivers find an address in the town of Linkou where I work is often interesting and may be more so when I can’t say more than ‘turn right/left’ and can’t see much due to dilated eyes.
Note: Getting a map printed out involved getting IT to update the one on our company website to show the building we moved into last November. Yikes again.
9. Attempt to get work done despite aforementioned inability to see for the first three hours or so. The boss said to just stay home, but where’s the fun in that if I can’t even read?
