storm update

The weather here has been freakishly calm all day. The typhoon slowed down and lapsed into a tropical storm, but as far as I can tell, the center should be right over us. What seems to be happening is not so much that we’re in the eye, but that now all the rain is on the back side of it, in sort of a wide C-shape and we’re in the cup of it. Which means there’s probably more to come. Meanwhile, Ted threw his back out yesterday,so we’re having a quiet day around here anyway.
