The pattern’s February Lady, so-called because it’s an adult-ized version of Elizabeth Zimmerman’s February Baby sweater, so-called because it’s the February pattern in her Knitting Almanac.
But Mom’s birthday is next month, so… December Lady.
The yarn is Dream in Color Classy, which was indeed a dream to knit with. It stretched a little while blocking – I was worried about sleeve length while it was still damp, but they seem to be just right now. Most of the measurements Mom sent me are very close to mine, so it ought to fit her. I hope she likes it. I asked her opinion of the colors, the yarn and the pattern, so she ought to.
