Here’s the cowl I finished yesterday:
And the skirt. It’s not completely done: I still need to sew in the rest of the buttons (the top two are functional); below that I sewed the skirt closed to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. It fits perfectly, but it also stretches; I will need to sew in elastic or ribbon behind the waistband to keep the skirt from sliding down my legs when I wear it. I like the way it looks though (I hope you can tell; Ted is terrible at portrait/knitting photos, and that pneumatic look around my middle in two of the pictures is because my sweater is folded up to keep it out of the way. (Also, new sweater! Isn’t it a pretty color? It’s so soft I keep petting myself.)
The skirt is FAB! You did a great job.
I can finally get into my mailbox and found a bunch of notifies from you. Gads, you must think I’m the rudest friend ever. Not deliberately rude, just technically challenged and at odds with the darn laptop.
Hope all is well on your side of the planet. ~LA
Both pieces are gorgeous!
