Second interview today! I get a plant tour and a meeting with one more person. So now I’m trying to figure out what I should do this morning in order to be my sharpest and perkiest (well, its relative) best at 2:00.
I’m also trying to figure out what to wear. The new gray suit jacket is the only given; I can wear it only a navy sheath dress, over a dark red sheath dress, or over the matching pants with either a short-sleeved navy jersey tee, a button-down sleeveless polka-dotted blouse, or a navy draped-neck 3/4 sleeve T. Since I’ll be walking around, I’m leaning toward the last two options. It’s projected to reach 75F today, which around here means pretty hot in the sun. (In Phoenix that would have been cool and comfortable, in Taipei just beginning to steam.)
I’m pretty sure getting to my best by 2:00 starts with Morning Tea (I mistyped that as Morning Ted, but he’s already gone for the day 🙂 but what then? Not working out; somehow I’ve managed to erg four days in a row without my body clamoring for a break, probably because the bare beginning marathon training is not very intense. Today is my off day; tomorrow will likely be off also (or rather ‘active rest’) because we plan to go downtown to the Rose Festival to see the Fleet, the Dragon Boat races, and the parade floats. I’ll probably just write and edit this morning, go for an exciting walk to the mailbox, and think over what else I want to ask and am likely to be asked this afternoon.
Good luck! And thanks for the cleaner recipe. ~LA
