still delayed

The Kindle is still showing as “possibly delayed”; I have written Amazon to suggest that they put more reasonable shipping estimates on their international courier shipping. (They said it would be two days; I knew it was unlikely to be true, but waited until almost the end of our last trip to order it just on the off chance. I didn’t want it to arrive while we were gone in case Customs fees were due.)
