Maybe not

A fear turns a niggle,
A routine annoyance,
Into a sinkhole –
Unexpected block
To future travels.

That’s all I got. I may not be doing that April poem-a-day thing going around – somewhere along the way I realized that “didactic” and “poetry” stopped being an acceptable combination of words shortly after Pope left us (Alexander, not Pope Benedict).

In better news, I got a car today. Well, technically Ted did – I picked up his company car, because we had to get it from a dealer way over by the airport and he didn’t have time. But this means we have two vehicles, and I’ll probably be driving this one at least part of the time because he likes driving the Mighty Big Truck (TM). The better thing is that I drove it back, all on highways, with no nervous feelings like my head was going to explode. Somehow, just knowing how my binocular vision is screwed up has helped a lot; in a few weeks I have an appointment with a specialist, and hopefully they’ll be able to help even more
