Things might be quiet-ish here for a bit; we leave tomorrow for two weeks in the US. I will be taking a computer and I know we”l have access at the DC hotel, but how much time we’ll get to stay in the hotel and how much access we’ll have anywhere else I do not know. We’ll get to see some old friends who moved to NC; unfortunately there are a horde of people I’d love to see in the DC area that I’ll probably have to miss this time, since the purpose of this trip is just to spend time with my uncle. We will need to get out to shop a bit but I didn’t want to commit to any socializing.
I hadn’t realized until yesterday that we’ll be there for the Superbowl. I suppose that will be a reasonable way to hang out with my family, though none of us who will be there are huge football fans. I’m also looking forward to American food!
