Two and a half years ago (it’s hard to realize we’ve been abroad so long!) in Rhodes, I decided to do something unusual and buy some jewelry for myself, something beyond a cheap pair of silver earrings. I was never able to take a good picture of it, but realized last night that with the new macro lens I finally have that capability. I’m not much for rings, but I love this micromosaic princess/warrior and wear her often.
The mosaic is a miniature version of a famous one in Greece, according to the Jeweler, but I’ve never been able to find the original online. In the second photo, you can see that the bale rotates so it can be worn as a ring or pendant.
(Bonus ring: in the first picture, I had to put it on my left hand to be able to take the picture, so you can also see my engagement ring. I only wear it, not my wedding ring, a plain gold band, because I don’t particularly like the look of two rings together (unless they’re made to fit together) and because I take them off to sleep and work out and it’s too hard to get two rings on and off all the time.)
Love the detail of your engagement ring and your “princess” ring too!
That warrior ring is GORGEOUS. So different.
So is your engagement ring. 🙂
