When I looked up Implanon injection on the web to figure out what to expect (meaning, if it was going to hurt when the anesthetic wore off – which, for the record it didn’t), one site said, “Your doctor may use a pressure bandage to reduce bruising.” I now have reason to believe that would have been a good idea. As you can see, mine used only a bandaid.
