UnFOs

Some unfinished objects: two pair of earrings (one without earwires, because I only have a few of those) and a partial necklace. The colors are closer to right on the black background. (I turned the necklace over in the second photo so you can see both sides of the pendant.)

And the first of the Waving Laces socks These are made from Spritely Goods Sylph hand=dyed superwash merino yarn, and the pattern is from the book Favorite Socks.

What’s the plan – to finish, to rethink, or…? (Either way: ooh, shiny!)

The socks look comfy. Is the name because of the pattern? (At first I was associating “laces” with some type of shoe, but I’m loopy from sleep debt.)

To finish. I’ve begun making a stock of earrings to sell someday, so storing them without wires is practical – I can add wires quickly whenever I’m ready to sell (and can buy silver ones in bulk more easily back in the US). I will complete the necklace but may redo the center pendant.

The socks just need the second one done – it’s only about 2″ along. Yes, Waving Laces is the name of the original pattern. If you’re on Ravelry (they do have crochet!) you can search there for better pictures.
